Privacy policy
Short version: we collect an email address so we can send you the worksheet and a quarterly update. We do not sell, rent or broker it, and there is no per-lead arrangement anywhere in this business.
Who we are

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you request the 10-Year Capital Plan Worksheet or email us, we receive your first name, email address, and anything else you choose to type into the form or the message — including the company or building name and the description of what you are pricing, if you provide them.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web analytics: pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. This is collected through Google Analytics 4.
- Server logs. Our host records IP addresses and request data as part of normal operation and security.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and this is a business-to-business publication not directed at children.
How we use it
- To send you the worksheet you requested.
- To send a quarterly update when published ranges are revised. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- To answer a message you sent us.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful, so we know what to publish next.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or broker your contact details. We do not operate any per-lead, per-click or per-project arrangement, with contractors, manufacturers, consultants, lenders or anyone else. Sponsors and directory listings pay a flat fee for placement and receive no access to the people who contact us.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that make the site run, and only so they can perform that function:
- Email delivery. Brevo, to send the worksheet and updates.
- Hosting and security. Our web host and Cloudflare.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4, in aggregate.
- Legal. Where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
If Spencer Gasselin LLC or this publication is ever sold or transferred, contact records may transfer with it, subject to this policy.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for analytics and, where you submit a form, for basic session and anti-spam function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the reference content will work normally without them.
How long we keep it
Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and then removed within 30 days. Analytics data follows the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Server logs rotate on our host’s normal schedule.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from the footer of any email, at any time.
- Access, correction or deletion. Email us and we will action it. Residents of jurisdictions with statutory data rights — including California and the EU or UK — may exercise those rights the same way, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
- No sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send confidential building, financial or tenant information through the contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how we use information you have already given us, say so in the quarterly update.
